Living faith

Living faith
Living Faith is the home-church based platform for Christian education of the Norwegian Mission Covent Church. It is not a set of new activities. Rather it is a help to focus on discipling as a process that starts while the children are small, and the fact that faith in Jesus can be modeled and transferred from one generation to the next.

The goal of Living Faith is to instill in people a mobile faith that is a vital part of the person through all the various phases of life. To build a mobile faith we need disciple pulse, frequent encounters with heaven, through Bible study, prayer, fellowship and service. The heartbeat of this life of discipleship is something that home and family can find together, and the church can assist by creating room for it.

Our youth organization UNG has developed tools to support the churches in the process of a rethinking of their existing activities, and how they can better cooperate with the homes in their ministry. There is a package consisting of Teaching DVD, a plan for Christian education for the age group 0-20, recourses for all generational church services, and even DVD’s with TV-programs for children.

By supporting the project Living Faith, you support the effort to mobilize for Christian education in home and church.
